In this role you will work with the linux power management team as an individual contributor to design / develop / port linux power management frameworks /
drivers to Broadcom SoCs.
The technology you will be working on represents an important component in Broadcom’s cellular platform and will give you a opportunity to combine Broadcom's
wealth of IP with the best commercial tools to produce chips on time, and yet hit tough area / speed / power / yield targets. You will be based in the
Broadcom Bangalore office.
Educational qualification: B.E./ B. Tech. with specialization in E & C / CS / IT ( MCA also considered)
Years of Experience: 6 - 9 yrs.
Good understanding of Linux kernel internals , driver development and linux kernel frameworks essential
Atleast 2+ years of strong linux kernel porting / development experience essential
Strong exposure to linux power management frameworks like MFD, cpu-idle,cpu-freq is a big plus
Good understanding of ARM architecture and its port to linux desired
Need to be self-motivated, methodical, and detail oriented
Interface effectively with different teams (h / w and s / w) across sites.
